The City of Bell Gardens has renewed its Traffic Signal Maintenance and Repair Services contract with Econolite, a partnership that spans over two decades. This renewal marks a significant milestone, as Econolite has been providing the City with trusted traffic signal and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance services for more than 20 years.

As part of the contract renewal, Econolite’s field services team will continue to offer preventative maintenance across Bell Gardens’ roadways and intersections. This includes providing unparalleled ITS field asset maintenance and emergency repair and replacement services, ensuring the safety and reliability of the City’s traffic systems.

New Safety Initiatives

In addition to the ongoing services, Bell Gardens has also contracted Econolite to deploy a new safety lighting system along its roadways. This added feature will improve visibility and further contribute to roadway safety, protecting all users of the city’s transportation infrastructure.
