Econolite announced that it has fulfilled a strategic vision by joining PTV Group to create a global platform for the delivery of products, services, and systems to transportation professionals. The partnership of the two brands is backed by Bridgepoint and Porsche SE, and it will operate under the umbrella of a new holding.
The main focus of the holding will be end-to-end smart and sustainable traffic management solutions that facilitate and optimize the supply chain challenges of today’s Smart Cities, driving innovation in safety-critical areas and ensuring the mobility of multi-modal travelers. Under this holding, Econolite and PTV will both accelerate growth and expand global research beyond the current market scope, which encompasses more than 120 countries.
