Dear Econolite Customers and Business Partners:
As a National Emergency was just announced in connection to COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to our customers and business partners to make sure you are aware of the extra precautions we are taking to minimize the spread of this virus. The health and safety of our employees and their families, our customers, partners, and our communities as a whole is our highest priority and we are taking proactive steps to minimize exposure to all.
Effective March 9, 2020, we restricted all non-essential travel. In addition, non-essential meetings, gatherings, workshops, and training sessions are being canceled or postponed. We are encouraging employees to use the telephone and video conferencing instead of face-to-face meetings as much as possible during this time. This restriction is in effect until April 30th, when we will reassess the situation.
Our employees are being reminded regularly of the CDC guidelines to prevent spread of the virus, and we have made employees aware of how critical it is to not report to work if they are experiencing respiratory symptoms. In addition, we have made telecommuting an option for some positions. Employees have been instructed to call their doctor if they experience a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, have been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19, or if they live in, or have recently traveled to an area where the virus has spread.
Our business remains strong and we are reviewing our supply chain to continue to provide the highest level of services and products to our customers. We have been proactive and have already begun expanding our inventory. We are in touch and communicating with our suppliers frequently to mitigate any adverse impact on our supply chain.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this unprecedented situation and we wish you and your families good health, always.
Sincerely,
Abbas Mohaddes
President & COO
