ESI also coordinated with Caltrans on scheduling Right-of-Way (ROW) access for installation efforts and managed multiple subcontractors along with a field staff of eight technicians. ESI maintained the CPM schedule for the project and was involved with weekly reporting to all stakeholders. Along with field efforts, ESI also assisted in developing and implementing the backhaul field network that consists of Cisco routers and switches along with a network management system that provided real-time status of network traffic and alerting.
ESI managed the construction and deployment of the backhaul network, as well as coordinated with Caltrans on scheduling Right-of-Way (ROW) access for installation efforts, and managed multiple subcontractors along with a field staff of eight technicians. This included procuring, configuration, deployment, and testing of Cisco routers and switches along with a high availability system to provide network monitoring.
